Virtual Support Group.

For those of you who would enjoy attending a support group but are unable to for reasons of scheduling, transportation, or geography, we have discovered an excellent alternate solution: a virtual support group. If you have access to the internet, you can contact the TBI chat page twenty-four hours a day. (If you do not yet have access, call your local public library to find out if they can provide you with access.) After starting in the new users chat room, you have several options available: you can participate in the general chat room, or enter one of several different specialized chat rooms. There is a chat room designed for child (under 17) survivors of TBI, for care providers, and for family members. There are also other services available including email lists of survivors and caregivers, and email support lists. This is an excellent resource if have online access and would like to share your experiences with TBI. The world wide web address is: www.tbichat.org.
